Group Fitness Training – Achieving Results Is Easier as a Group Effort

No matter where they are located, indoors or outdoors, fitness classes have the same purpose: to make your body look and feel better, healthier and definitely stronger. The main question is what is the best choice for you, a small group of ten, twelve people or a 1 on 1 session with a personal trainer?
Many people need a reason to work harder when attending a fitness class.
Generally, people think that only attending a gym and working out is enough and that they do not need help from a trainer or the company of others to obtain the results they want. The truth is that, when training alone, we tend to get bored after ten, twenty minutes of exercising in a gym and we go home thinking that the slim body we dream of will appear overnight.
How do you feel when you look over the shoulder and you see that the person next to you has lost more fat than you have?
The truth is that most of us need a group to make us more conscious when we exercise. It is in the human nature to be selfish; you do not want the person next to you to look better than you do, that is why you will work harder.
A small group means that you will receive the attention of a 1 on 1 personal training session, but still be part of a group. Working out along with a small number of people makes tracking your progress easy and motivates you to work hard in order to achieve your personal goals.
There are many other benefits when attending group fitness training, but the most important are the ones presented above. Remember that humans are social beings and the most effective way to reach a goal is to be part of a group that has the same purposes as yours.
