My philosophy and approach to the kettlebell as far as instructing goes, basically comes down
to the fact that I believe that the best use for the kettlebell is to get a time efficient and effective full body
workout that you can do anytime and anywhere. My job is to help you be able to do this.
Quite frankly, I very rarely use kettlebells in personal training sessions. I really only want
to be able to use them with people who can learn the lifts and go away and have a workout in their own time.
That is why I prefer to teach kettlebells in the class scenario. With the emphasis being on
getting together and touching base with other people who want to train in kettlebells and have an appreciation of
the benefits of using them.
I come from an internal martial art background, and I specialized in "free movement"
that was the foundation of a very reflexive mind.
When I first started lifting kettlebells I knew right away that it was a way I could enhance
my movement and power for my main fitness focus.
